The Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education (BOSSE), Sikkim is an open schooling board established under the BOSSE Act, 2020 by the Sikkim Legislative Assembly. BOSSE provides flexible education opportunities at the Secondary (Class 10th) and Senior Secondary (Class 12th) levels, along with skill and vocational education programmes.

Academic Programmes (Class 10th & 12th)

Secondary Programme (Class 10th)

Designed for learners who want to complete secondary education through flexible open learning.

Eligibility: Minimum age requirement is 15 years. Class VIII pass certificate or self-certificate regarding reading/writing ability required.

Senior Secondary (Class 12th)

Equivalent to Class 12th level for students who have successfully completed their Class 10 qualification from a recognized board.

Eligibility: Must submit proof of passing the Secondary / Class 10 examination.

Transfer of Credit (TOC)
